The City of Miami Beach's Fire on the Fourth celebration returns this July 4th with a full day of entertainment that includes a dedicated Family Zone supported by T-Mobile, food trucks, circus performers, live music and a magic show. Besides commemorating Independence Day, this year's North Beach event celebrates the nation’s 246th birthday.
Fire on the Fourth kicks off at noon on Monday, July 4, 2022 at 73rd Street and Collins Avenue with a lineup of activities and events at the sand bowl behind North Beach Bandshell.
Multiple stages have been setup for live entertainment throughout the day. The Bandshell itself has also been transformed into an outdoor roller disco, featuring sounds by Bandshell DJ Allstars and pros from the Roller Skate Vibes community showing off their moves. Festivities will culminate with a fireworks display at 9 p.m. Enjoy performances throughout the day by Camie Liz, Bootleg, Jam with Jamie, Amazing Animals, The Dangerfun Show, The Incredible Ian, DJ Ivanand The Miami Beats, which take the stage at 8:20 p.m. and continue performing during the fireworks.
Styrofoam, glass containers and alcoholic beverages are prohibited. The city encourages all attendees to do their part in recycling to #KeepMBClean.
For transportation options to and from the event, a free, dedicated shuttle service will operate from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. between the 42 Street garage (stop located along southbound Sheridan Avenue north of 41 Street) and North Beach Bandshell (stop located at Collins Avenue south of 73 Street). The shuttle departs approximately every 15 minutes. Besides the shuttle service, attendees can use the free citywide trolley from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Service frequency for the trolleys is approximately every 30 minutes. For those who wish to drive and park, a flat parking rate of $20 per vehicle will apply at all city parking garages in the Art Deco Cultural District except for access card holders and residents. Good for a single entrance and exit, this holiday parking rate is effective from Friday, July 1 at 7 p.m., through Monday July 4 at 11:59 p.m. Garages that are subject to the holiday parking rate include:

- 12 Street and Washington Avenue
- 13 Street and Collins Avenue
- Anchor Garage on 16 Street
- 23 Street and Liberty Avenue
