If you are looking for raw, uncensored, and uncut stand-up comedy, then the Glasshouse is the place to be. Each and every 3rd Wednesday, the Black Archives History & Research Foundation of South Florida, Inc. transforms the beatiful glass lobby of the Historic Lyric Theater into the GLASSHOUSE COMEDY EXPERIENCE, Miami's newest live stage performance attraction welcoming ALL comedians.
The GLASSHOUSE is where only the strongest comedians can throw rocks from a house of glass and survive. Professional comedians show up and show out with hilarious, side splitting, belly aching jokes. The world is a stage, so come early to particpate in our "5 minutes of Fame" segement. 5 minutes of fame offers an amatuer comic an opportunity to test their skills, and see if they can survive the GlassHouse. You decide if the amatuer comic can win a chance to open a Glasshouse show at a later date.
So come and enjoy this club styled setting that puts you up close and personal with some of the best local and national comedians. You don't want to miss this HUMP DAY GETAWAY. So grab a friend or two, and join us with laughter and drinks as we give you the medicine you need to get through the rest of your work week.
