Gary Gore, self described "Singer, Songwriter, Retro DJ and Funny Bastard" has been performing since 1990, bringing his acoustic rock/pop sound to fans of music all over. With an impressive collection of originals and a mind-boggling array of classic rock, pop and one-hit wonders from the 50's through the 80's, Gary is always at home entertaining any type of crowd. (As well he should: as of this posting, he's played over 2,000 shows and counting!) As of 2006, he's become a DJ as well, earning rave reviews in South Florida for his eclectic choice of retro dance and disco tunes. With a wicked sense of humor and the ability to read an audience every time, every show is spontaneous and entertaining; his catchy originals and ability to play the most infectious cover songs most of us have forgotten always guarantees an entertaining time for all ages.
"ABBA to Zepelin!" is his battlecry.
His performances are half impersonations and half kabuki theater, his take on such classic American vocalists as Johnny Cash, John Cougar, John Fogherty and Bruce Springteen are sometimes dead on, sometimes dead on funny. Be careful what you say around him - the slightest "mock request" may be taken seriously...and played....and dedicated to you.
